‘Running to the Sea’ by Röyksopp Now Available
Last week (16 December 2013), Svein Berge and Torbjørn Brundtland, a.k.a. Röyksopp, released their latest single through their label, Dog Triumph. ‘Running to the Sea’ is available card gamesGaming Club needs in the UK via Wall of Sound and Cooking Vinyl.
Norway’s Susanne Sundfør provides the vocals for the ethereal track, with the calm and expansive soundscape – a dreamily pop affair.
Meanwhile, the magical B-Side ‘Something in My Heart’ features Jamie of The Irrepressibles prove why Röyksopp is a force to be reckoned with. Gaining nominations for the Brit Awards and the Grammys, they have four widely acclaimed albumsunder their belt, all of which took top spots in international charts. Also known for their four consecutive number ones in Norway, they’ve sold more than two million records and three of their tracks landed in Pitchfork’s top 500 tracks of the last ten years – the reason for which is their undeniable artistry, as demonstrated through their remixes of Kings of Leon, Depeche Mode, Lady Gaga and Beck. In addition to this, they have collaborated with up and coming Scandinavian vocalists includinf Lykke Li, Robyn, and Karin Dreijer-Anderrson of Fever Ray/The Knife.
