HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYONE!

First of all, many thanks to Cardinal Playlists for giving me the opportunity to get a taste of – and fall in love with – music-blogging!

Readers, thank you so much for supporting the blog and sticking with it. What you do counts, whether it’s buying the music, downloading songs, RT’ing posts or following the artists. The ONLY purpose of RNR in My Soul is to help these unsigned musicians get record deals…You might be the one to make it happen so keep doing what you’re doing!

I’ve gotten to know so many other bloggers, music promoters and avid music fans who’ve been massively helpful to the scene as well as this blog so shout out to all of you! And stay in touch in the New Year!

And finally, to all the artists who’ve been on the blog, you’re so incredible. Much love to you all and I’ll do everything I can from halfway across the world to make 2013 your year. ;)

Here are the songs you guys chose to celebrate the New Year (very eclectic selection, by the way)… Enjoy the playlist and have a wonderful night!

***

Andy Muscat: DJ Fresh – It’s Gonna Get Louder

Band of Idlers: Band of Idlers – When The Walls Come Down

Danny Burns: Jake Bugg – Two Fingers

The Bedroom Hour: B. Gibbard – Duncan Where Have You Gone?

This is the song they actually picked: Just a Word – Standing in the Way

Dogs and Diamonds: Dogs and Diamonds – Kiss the Mistress

Lydia Baylis: Alt-J Something Good

Lydia also selected: The Slow Show – God Only Knows

and…

The Repeat Offenders: Kasabian – Goodbye Kiss

The Sass: The Vaccines – Teenage Icon

Turrentine Jones: The Raveonettes – Young and Cold

Velocets: Foals – Inhaler

(Some readers didn’t give their names when filling out the form, but songs are included at the end!)

Mr. Peeps: We Are Augustines – Chapel Song

Marc Williams: All the Young – The Horizon

Marc also suggested: The Kinks – Waterloo Sunset (in light of the 2012 Olympics!)

Davey Hub (theonlinefestival): The Tea Street Band – Disco Lights

Ralph (RalphsLife): Whispery Clubb – Between My Home And Your House

Reverend and the Makers – Out of the Shadows

Oasis – Whatever
