News: Kelly Clarkson performs Wonderwall at Manchester gig

Kelly-Clarkson-Stronger

This poor song has been sung (I use the term loosely) and abused so much over the years. Everyone everywhere seems to want to cover it and I’d say 96% of the time, it’s shit. (Oasis is my favorite band of all time, so I may be slightly biased, but…)

This version’s a bit choppy and awkward in places, and a bit too similar to Ryan Adams’ interpretation in my opinion. Having said that, I think she’s got a great voice. Whether it is suited/lives up to Oasis’ attitude and energy, I don’t know.

What do you think?
